Ex-programmer and computer enthusiast, familiar with:

  • Operating systems: MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows 3.X to 8.1.
  • Installation and configuration of operating systems, device drivers, and applications. Backup and restore.
  • Microsoft Office: 2003/2010.
  • Internet software: Browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Opera), e-mail clients (Mozilla Thunderbird), ftp clients, HTML editors, etc.
  • Computer-aided translation systems and tools: SDL Trados / Trados Studio, Déjà Vu X3, Passolo, Transit, Wordfast Classic and Professional, OmegaT, ApSIC Xbench, MemoQ, Okapi Rainbow, LF Aligner.
  • Programming, query, and markup languages: Java, Javascript, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, PHP.
  • File types: Documents, presentations, tables, workbooks, databases, project packages from the CAT tools listed above.
